The Projects Authority is organizing the second session of the "Turathona" handicrafts and heritage exhibition

Under the patronage of the President of the Republic, the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises Development Agency is holding the "Our Heritage" exhibition at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement during the period from 2 to 6 October 2019, with the participation of more than 500 exhibitors from all governorates of Egypt on an area of ​​10,000 meters. Nevin Jameh - CEO of the Projects Development Authority - said that the exhibition comes in implementation of the President's directives to pay attention to the small enterprises sector as the engine of development for the economy and to implement initiatives to employ youth and women and create suitable job opportunities for them. Jameh added that the exhibition also reflects the state’s strategy to promote handicrafts and heritage and open markets for the products of these projects at home and abroad. In this regard, Nevin Jameh affirmed the interest and keenness of the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Agency to support the owners of small enterprises in the field of handicrafts and heritage in order to revive these Crafts that distinguish the Egyptian identity, through which it is possible to open export markets in various countries of the world. She pointed out that the agency provides many financial and non-financing services to these projects as they provide real job opportunities for young people. In this context, Nevin Jameh confirmed the agency’s interest in organizing internal and external exhibitions, within the framework of the directives of the Prime Minister and Chairman of the Agency’s Board of Directors to expand the establishment of specialized exhibitions in support of owners of small and micro enterprises and to work to promote them at home and abroad. It is worth noting that this exhibition is a continuation of the success achieved by the first "Our Heritage" exhibition, which was organized by the Small, Medium and Small Enterprises Development Agency (SMEED) last year, which met with great public turnout and great commercial success.
